Savor the Flavor: SoHo Mobile Bartending's Must-Try Specialty Cocktails

You can also modify these recipes to your liking by using a different type of sweetener, such as maple syrup or honey, or by adding a splash of water or club soda to the cocktails. Some people also like to add a cherry or other fruit to the glass as a garnish. Experiment and see what works best for you!

Old Fashioned

To make a SoHo Mobile Bartending Old Fashioned cocktail, you will need the following ingredients: 

  • 60 ml (2 ounces) of whiskey (bourbon or rye)
  • 1 sugar cube or 1/2 teaspoon of simple syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Orange peel (optional)

Manhattan

To make a Manhattan cocktail, you will need the following ingredients: 

  • 60 ml (2 ounces) of rye whiskey
  • 30 ml (1 ounce) of sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Maraschino cherry or orange peel for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Add the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters to the glass.
  3. Stir the cocktail until well chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a cherry or orange peel, if desired.

Dirty Martini

  • 60 ml gin
  • 30 ml dry vermouth
  • 15 ml olive brine (from a jar of olives)
  • 2-3 olives, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.
  2. Add the gin, dry vermouth, and olive brine to the shaker.
  3. Shake well to combine and chill the ingredients.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with olives, if desired.

Ranch Water

 Ingredients:

  • 60 ml vodka or tequila
  • 30 ml fresh lime juice
  • 120 ml club soda
  • Lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Add the vodka or tequila and lime juice to the glass.
  3. Top off the glass with the club soda.
  4. Squeeze in the juice from a lime wedge.
  5. Garnish with the lime wedge, if desired.

Paloma

 

To make a Paloma cocktail, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 45 ml (1.5 ounces) tequila
  • 120 ml (4 ounces) grapefruit juice
  • A splash of club soda
  • A slice of grapefruit or lime, for garnish (optional)

To make the cocktail, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila and grapefruit juice and shake well. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a slice of grapefruit or lime, if desired. Enjoy!

Snowball

To make a snowball cocktail, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 60 ml (2 ounces) vodka
  • 30 ml (1 ounce) lime juice
  • 60 ml (2 ounces) pineapple juice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add the vodka, lime juice, and pineapple juice to the shaker.
  3. Shake well to combine the ingredients and chill the drink.
  4. Fill a cocktail glass with crushed ice.
  5. Strain the cocktail mixture over the ice.

Hurricane

To make a hurricane cocktail, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 60 ml (2 ounces) white rum
  • 30 ml (1 ounce) dark rum
  • 30 ml (1 ounce) passion fruit juice
  • 30 ml (1 ounce) orange juice
  • 15 ml (1/2 ounce) grenadine
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Crushed ice

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the white rum, dark rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice, and grenadine to the shaker. Squeeze one lime. Shake well to combine the ingredients. Fill glass with crushed ice. Strain over crushed ice. Serve lime 

Kid's snow cones

This fun, kid-friendly cocktail is made with flavored syrups, such as cherry or blue raspberry, and is served on the rocks with crushed ice.
